Housewives, Consumers and Users of Miño Association
It was created in 1991. Its President was Mª José Sanjurjo Paz who was supported by eleven managers. The board of directors is renewed every fourth year and the aforementioned president is kept until 2003.
Nowadays, the President of this association is Mª José López González.
ACTIVITIES WE DEVELOP
The history of our association is based on the realization of many and varied activities, for example:
 Cultural trips inside Galicia ( Monasterio de Oseira, Cañones del Sil, Laxe, La Coruña, Santiago, Lugo) and outside Galicia ( Portugal, Madrid, Zamora, León)
Trips of Consumption: these are trips which are organized for the purpose of our members observe the manufacture process of several foodstuff, for example; visits to the Coca- Cola Company, Nestlé, Bonilla, Donuts, quesos de Arzúa, and so on.
Talks, conversations where they deal with several and varied topics that are related to current topics, which our members are interested in: “Mediterranean diet”, “Mistreated women”, “Inheritances”, “Historical topics”, and so on.
Fraternization Evening Meals: we celebrate them every year in order to satisfy our members: at Christmas, Anniversary…
Popular festivals in which our members meet their families: some years we organize the Family Festival. Nowadays we still celebrate the Companion Festival, where each member attends with the companion she likes.
Sometimes we participate as spectators in the TVG programmes (Supermartes, Luar, Coa miña xente)
We also organize acts to collect funds for poor people or we collaborate with other associations. .
Trekking: every year we organize trekking routes in the surroundings.

 Manual crafts
Swimming
Tapestry
Embroidery
Making-up
Flower art
Cookery
Dancing
English lessons
Nowadays the courses that are imparted in our community centre all year long are: Embroidery, Manual crafts and Swimming. However, this year we also organize short courses such as cooking and flower art.
