The Culture Municipal Service tries to bring the citizenship near the different cultural expressions such as music, theatre, cinema, literature and painting for the purpose of promotion, co-operation, spread and sociocultural liveliness.

We offer artistic training through our Municipal Cultural Schools of Theatre, Painting and Bobbin Lace. We also promote activities in several sociocultural buildings and outdoors such as exhibitions, performances, film projections, concerts and puppet-shows.

For the purpose of approaching and spreading the liking for books and the reading among all the population of Miño, we have a big bibliographical fund in both the Public Municipal Library and the Reading Rooms of the parishes Community Centres, where several activities as Campaigns about Reading Encouragement and Literary Contests are being developed.

At the Municipal Computing classroom the inhabitants of Miño can have access to the net free of charge, as well as its program of courses, such as Initiation to Windows, Word, Excel and Access, creation of web pages, search for employment through the net,....

Young people can find information at the Municipal Youthful Information Office, besides the proposal of activities such as camps, outings and trips, working courses, and so on..
