We leave Miño towards Perbes and go past the Big Beach where the dunes and marshes can be admired in the mouth of the River Baxoi. Along all the way before arriving at Saint Xoán de Vilanova it is possible to admire a beautiful sight of the Estuaries of Ares and Betanzos.

It is compulsory to visit St. Xoán de Vilanova Church, which is placed in a rural area and surrounded with the cemetery and a wall of stone; it is a Romanesque example from the middle of the 12th century. The architectural structure of the building is of rectangular floor and just one nave, which ends in a semicircular apse, both joined through a presbiteral arch without straight section.

Going on towards Fondal, we meet the ruins of the Ancestral country House of the Counts of Taboada and Maza, with the characteristics of the 18th century, and granaries raised on pillars which are very representative of our culture.

We finish the route in Perbes in order to see Saint Pedro Church, which is peculiarly simple but it emphasizes its altarpiece of the main altar.

In Morteirado we see a two-height house whose floor is in the shape of “L”. Beside the house there is a wooden granary to keep maize.
